Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of TextTodo, a conversational task, reminder, and optional Google Calendar service currently available only through iMessage. SMS is not supported. By using TextTodo, you agree to these Terms.

Service availability

TextTodo is an evolving service. Features may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. Access may be limited or discontinued while the service is maintained and tested.

Your account and instructions

You are responsible for the messaging and Google accounts you connect, the instructions sent from them, and the accuracy of information you provide. Do not use TextTodo to access another person’s calendar or information without authorization.

Calendar and reminder limitations

TextTodo is a productivity aid, not a guaranteed alarm, emergency, medical, financial, or safety system. Messages, reminders, webhooks, provider APIs, networks, and devices may be delayed or unavailable. You remain responsible for reviewing your tasks and calendar and meeting your obligations.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, send unlawful or abusive content, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or another service’s terms.

Third-party services

TextTodo relies on third-party services including Google, Vercel, Supabase, Apple, and BlueBubbles. Their availability and separate terms may affect TextTodo. Google Calendar access is optional and may be revoked at any time.

Intellectual property

TextTodo and its original software, design, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the content and data you submit.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, TextTodo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TextTodo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for missed tasks, reminders, appointments, messages, or calendar changes arising from use of the service.

Termination and deletion

You may stop using TextTodo, disconnect Google Calendar, or request deletion at any time. TextTodo may suspend access when necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties, or to comply with law.

Changes

These Terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
