Connection

Permission starts with a short, expiring link.

TextTodo sends a single-use connection link after onboarding or when you request it. Google Calendar remains the source of truth. Disconnecting removes the stored connection and linked Calendar metadata from TextTodo.

Ask what is fixed before deciding what can move.

See timed and all-day events for one local day, request your overall plans alongside active tasks, or find every free period between local midnight and the next midnight.

Create and edit

Change one clearly identified event.

Create one or several one-time timed events. Rename, move, retime, or cancel an event only when the request resolves to a single match; otherwise TextTodo asks for a date or time.

When only the start moves, the duration stays the same. Bot-created event identifiers are deterministic so a safe retry does not create another event.

Text reminders

A linked event can send one reminder in iMessage.

A one-time timed event created through TextTodo receives one text reminder ten minutes before it begins. An event that already existed in Google receives one only after an explicit request. Moving or cancelling a linked event in Google updates or removes that TextTodo reminder.

Current limits

Primary Google Calendar, one-time timed changes.

Apple Calendar, Outlook, secondary Google calendars, and FreeBusy are not supported. Recurring and all-day events appear in agendas but are read-only. TextTodo never copies arbitrary events into tasks.
