Capture
One thought or several separate obligations.
TextTodo can create a single task or parse a batch. In a batch, each deadline, scheduled time, or note must belong to the clause that describes that task; ambiguous metadata is rejected before any of the batch is written.

Find the right work
Ask for the slice of the list you need.
View all active tasks, today, tomorrow, overdue work, or the next seven days. Search active titles by keyword, request one task’s full details, or inspect completed work by time period.
Ordering
- Exact deadlines appear first.
- Date-only deadlines follow.
- Undated tasks come last.
- Manual moves stay within an equal-deadline or undated group.
Dates and times
- Exact and date-only deadlines remain distinct.
- Named dates resolve in the user’s timezone.
- Clear follow-ups can supply AM or PM.
- Compact times and semicolon minute separators are understood.
Change and finish
The list is not brittle.
Edit titles, change or clear deadlines, complete, remove, restore, and undo the most recent removal. Recent context lets a short correction refer to the previous unresolved request.

Recurring tasks
Repeat on the calendar, not from completion.
Recurring task series support daily, weekday, selected-weekday, and monthly rules. Completing the visible occurrence creates one next future occurrence, skips missed backlogs, and keeps it hidden until its local date.
You can change the title of the next occurrence without changing the series default. Completion-relative recurrence and habit streaks are not part of TextTodo.
Product boundary
A task list, not a project-management suite.
TextTodo does not add projects, folders, tags, Kanban boards, courses, semesters, grades, subtasks, or habit history. Notes are private details on a task, not a general notebook.
